Difference of Other Digits is One

Multiplying Two Numbers Ending With Five When Difference Of Other Digit is One:  This method is used when we have two numbers ending with five and the difference of the other digit is one  Such type of Techniques of Vedic Maths help us to perform calculations in a much faster way.  Mastering such type of techniques is very essential in Competitive Exams where time is very precious

We will take following steps to multiply such numbers

For Example: We have to multiply 115 with 125.

As both the numbers are ending with five and the difference of other digit is one

Step 1: As the diffrence is one we will append 75 in the answer.

Answer = ____75

Step 2: We will multiply the other digits. In this case we will multiply 11 with 12

Result 1 = 12 X 11 = 132

We will now add the digits.That is Result 2= 12+ 11 = 23

We will divide the Result 2 with 2. We get Result 3= 23/2 = 11.5

As Result 3 is in decimals we will use the integral part

Result 4 = Result 1 + Result 3 = 132 + 11 = 143

We will prefix the Result 4 in the answer

Answer= 14375
